It’s arguably the biggest clash in the Premier League so far this season as the 2011-2012 champions, Manchester City host this year’s league leaders Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on Saturday.

So where better to watch it than with hundreds of other passionate Sky Blues’ and Gunners’ fans?

City, who are owned by the Abu Dhabi Royal family, have announced they are going to stream this game live on a big screen at Zayed Sports City in the UAE capital and they are inviting everyone to come along and enjoy what should be a unique atmosphere.

The gates open at 16:00, while the game itself starts at 16:45, so it’s best to get in as early as possible to get the best vantage point.

City are promoting it as a family day out, and part of the spectacle will include a Fanzone BBQ where there will be lots of “blue” lemonade and treats for all the family.

The Fanzone will be held on the School of Football pitch close to the tennis stadium and clubhouse.

The Premier League is very popular in the UAE, while Arsenal and City have special links to the Emirates as well. Both clubs can be assured of tremendous support from their fans here.

During the afternoon, all fans in attendance will have the chance to win a City shirt signed by manager Manuel Pellegrini, who was recently in Abu Dhabi to visit the club’s School of Football.

Pellegrini understands that the Sky Blues’ supporters in the UAE capital are the best in the world and he would love for as many as possible to come along and support his team as they try to tighten the gap on Arsenal.

Pellegrini said: “The fans in Abu Dhabi are so passionate and it is great to see so many of them supporting the team each week.”

After losing their opening game 3-1 at home to Aston Villa, the Gunners have turned on the style, winning 11 of their next 13 games and now have a clear lead at the top of the table.

Their deadline day signing of German Mesut Ozil – and the early season form of striker Olivier Giroud – seems to have given them the impetus they have needed in front of goal.

Meanwhile, City are slowly finding their true form after a lacklustre start to the season. The Citizens, who have picked up 10 points from their last four games, are the top scorers in this year’s Premier League, with 41 goals, and recently put six past Tottenham and seven beyond Norwich at the Etihad Stadium.

City possess some of the world’s greatest players, including Argentine striker Sergio Aguero, who has already scored 11 goals this term. The Argentine is supported by Frenchman Samir Nasri; Ivorian Yaya Toure, who was recently voted African Player of the Year; and Belgian centre-half - and club captain - Vincent Kompany.

Arsenal are showing class all over the field this year, but they will find a trip to the Etihad a daunting task nonetheless. With both sides hitting what seems to be their top form, it promises to be a very exciting day out at Zayed Sports City.
