It looks like more prestigious sports events will be coming to Qatar after a new joint venture deal was announced on Monday between Aspire Katara Investment (AKI) and Infront Sports and Media.

The resulting company, AspireInfront, will bring together the Swiss-based leading sports marketing company and the Qatari sports empire, and will kick-off their partnership by bringing Bayern Munich to the Aspire Zone in Doha next month for a nine-day winter training camp.

Philipp Lahm has admitted that the presence of a mole in the Bayern Munich dressing room is “uncomfortable”.

The Bayern captain spoke after his sides 3-1 victory over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League on Wednesday.

“I hope that the club speak to the players, but I'm not sure they will identify the person responsible," said Lahm.

Bayern boss Pep Guardiola was left fuming on Saturday after tactical information about his team was leaked to the media prior to their encounter with title rivals Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has ruled out bidding for superstar Lionel Messi, who has a buyout clause worth 250 million euros ($338.5 million) in his Barcelona contract.

"We are talking about simply absurd figures, a transfer fee that is even higher than what we spent on Javi Martinez.

Mario Gotze came back to haunt his former club Borussia Dortmund by setting Bayern Munich on their way to a 3-0 win and a four-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga.

Initially on the bench, Gotze came on early in the second half and, 10 minutes later, he had the ball in the back of the net, raising his hands apologetically.
